Saraswati Samman 2013: Govind Mishra for his book Dhool Paudho Par published in the year 2008
The Saraswati Samman, which is named after an Indian goddess of learning, is given for outstanding prose or poetry literary works in any Indian language listed in Schedule VIII of the Constitution of India. It is one of the highest literary awards in India. It was instituted in 1991 by the K. K. Birla Foundation. The winner of this award gets Rs 7.5 lakh, a citation and a plaque.

Dadasaheb Phalke Award 2013: Gulzar
The Dadasaheb Phalke Award is India's highest award in cinema given annually by the Government of India for lifetime contribution to Indian cinema. This award was introduced in 1969, the birth centenary year of Dadasaheb Phalke who is considered as the father of Indian cinema. This award comprises a Swarna Kamal  medallion, a cash prize of 1 million and a shawl.
