This award comprises a Swarna Kamal medallion, a cash prize of 1 million and a shawl.

Saraswati Samman 2013: Govind Mishra for his book Dhool Paudho Par published in the year 2008
The Saraswati Samman, which is
named after an Indian goddess of learning, is given for outstanding
prose or poetry literary works in any Indian language listed in Schedule
VIII of the Constitution of India. It is one of the highest literary
awards in India. It was instituted in 1991 by the K. K. Birla
Foundation. The winner of this award gets Rs 7.5 lakh, a citation and a
plaque.
